‘Best Amazing Fun’ as quoted by a 3 yr old. Great 2 hours of fun in sun, best value for money.

All ages can enjoy. Take your GoPro…

My husband and daughter had a delightful afternoon going up and down the dunes (hubby may disagree on the “delightful” part as he had to drag our daughter up the hill!). Well worth the money and a spectacular view of the storm clouds rolling in from the top…..just missed the downpour!

Great activity for all ages. Parents of young children will get a workout hauling the boards back up the sand hill, but this is a really fun experience.

Me and my wife had an awesome time this afternoon riding the bikes with Sam. Looks expensive, but it was more than worth it. Nice different types of ecosystems, some facts about the flora and fauna (we spotted a koala) were given by Sam.

We also wanted the ride to be tough and challenging, so Sam adapted the route for us. (Lots of uphills and downhills). We were lucky that we had such a cool guide. Great fun, cool thing to do on KI.

What an awesome fun spot to explore on foot, bike or sand toboggan. On a sunny day make sure you wear sunscreen and sunglasses as the glare from the white sand is full on. We had so much fun, got an awesome workout walking up the massive dunes and some great pictures.

I was wanting to get some experience on a fat tyred bike in varying terrain and riding styles. I certainly got that. Sam and Nathan the ride guides were great. They pushed us a little and stopped to talk about our expectations and enjoyment. We tried single track, a water crossing, loose sand and some specky down the dune. They adjusted the ride to our experience. There were a lot of opportunities for photos.

I would do the ride again and spend more time on the dunes.

What a gem! Hired a toboggan & took turns hurtling down the dunes & laughing at each other falling off!! Also laughed when the girl at the kiosk said the second hour for the toboggan was free because I didn’t think us oldies would even last for the first hour. But we did. What a hoot! View from the top of the dunes was magnificent. Next visit we’ll be trying the bikes!

We did the Sand boarding and it was great fun. I was very hesitant to start with and ended up having a ball. We spent 2 hours here could have spent another 2 hours, time just flew. Make sure you stop and check it out.

Definitely worth a visit, and its half way to the west-end of the island, so convenient to stop in when going to the Flinders Chase national park. Did a sand-board down the dunes to put the icing on this cake.

My husband, 2 friends, and myself stopped here when we visited Kangaroo Island and we had an absolute blast! It was cold and rainy and we were the only ones there. We had so much fun, we laughed for 2 hours straight. It didn’t matter that the weather wasn’t great. It took 3 days to get all the sand out of my hair and it was a crazy workout climbing the hill. So worth it.

We had an amazing Fat Bike tour with Andrew. We went first through the landscape and after over the sand dunes – really cool.

My daughter (14) and I went on a Fat Bike mountain trek with Fat Dave (his nickname not ours) and it was absolutely fantastic. We are both very sporty so wanted something really energetic to do which also allowed us to see some of the beauty of the island. We were not disappointed. Fat Dave challenged us both by taking us through very tricky terrain, down difficult declines and through narrow passage ways but we both did it and were thrilled to bits that we did. We travelled through 4 different eco systems, saw Koalas, an Echidna and some bee hives and honeycomb. We were given great detail about the beautiful plant life we saw also. It was better than we ever imagined and we felt a huge sense of achievement when we finished. Fat Dave took some fantastic pictures of us along the way and was an absolutely fantastic guide. This is a big thumbs up from us!

We had an awesome time riding the sand dunes. You could choose to ride the toboggan or try your skills at sand boarding. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The view at the top was just breathtaking. What an amazing place highly recommend trying this activity.
