Little Sahara Adventure Pack for 2 People

Come with us on an incredible adventure through Little Sahara! Cruise through the dunes on our electric fatbikes before grabbing a sandboard and sliding your way down them! Perfect for people looking for a bit of adventure!

Electric Fatbike Tour: See more with less effort on an electric fat bike, we promise you’ll love this 1 hour 50 minute tour! Ride along riverbanks spotting koalas in 500-year-old gum trees, learn about native bush foods, flora and fauna and cruise through the Little Sahara’s sand dunes; where the low-pressure fat tyres float easily across the sand. We provide all the safety gear you will need, including helmets and bicycle gloves. All you need to bring is a camera, closed shoes and a sense of adventure. This tour is suitable for those who have ridden a bicycle before – from casual riders to avid cyclists – every tour is adapted to the riders abilities and interests. Minimum height for a rider on the e-bike tour is 140cm.
Sandboarding: Surf the dunes like a pro on a sandboard or just sit down, hang on and slide on toboggans. A must-do experience while on Kangaroo Island! Little Sahara is a spectacular sand dune system covering over two square kilometres with dunes of various sizes and steepness to suit all adventurers! No experience necessary, our team will give you a few hints and tips for getting the most out of your day on the dunes.
The activities included in this pack can be done on one day or split over several days if you prefer. When making your booking please let us know your preferred start times for your Bike Tour. Sandboarding/Tobogganing can be done on any day and at any time during Little Sahara’s open hours, just arrive onsite and quote your order number.

Buckle up and let your Guide showcase beautiful Little Sahara to you. Ride in a Yamaha Viking UTV Buggy through picturesque scenery that few visitors are privileged enough to see. Begin in the natural scrub along the banks of the Eleanor River, looking up into the 500 year old South Australian blue gums for koalas – we GUARANTEE you will see them, or your money back! Learn about the flora, fauna and history of the area from your knowledgeable Guide and sample native bush foods (seasonal) as you make your way to the edge of the Earth! When you reach the wild coastline you’ll marvel at the beauty of the rugged cliffs, turquoise waters and huge swell. You’ll get to go to a stunning and otherwise inaccessible beach where there will be nothing between you and Antarctica besides the vast Southern Ocean.

Sand & Surf Buggy Tour: Sit back, hold on and let us show you some of Kangaroo Island’s truly spectacular scenery. Your experienced and knowledgeable guide will show you river bank bushland, rugged coastlines with turquoise waters which are otherwise inaccessible and the desert-like landscape of Little Sahara’s sand dunes. You will ride in a Yamaha Viking multi-seat UTV with seatbelts and roll cage. Helmets and goggles provided.
Walking tour: Your knowledgeable guide will take you on a 1 hour 50 minute walk around Little Sahara while you discover the wonder and beauty of nature’s playground. Experience the beauty of Kangaroo Island first hand as your guide leads you past the dunes of Little Sahara and then on into the surrounding bushland. As the trails head towards the Eleanor River, you’ll discover native bush foods along the way (seasonal). Marvel at the beauty of the huge gums trees where you’ll spot koalas, native bee hives, an eagles nest and listen to an amazing chorus of birds.
